With this fingerprint password-filler solution, people use their fingerprints to log onto e-mail, online banking, and other access-controlled websites and programs. The biometric system helps people organize, manage, change and delete login credentials for applications, websites and the like, all in one convenient location.
The system works by authenticating your fingerprint and then releases your password to the site/application you have registered it with.

The hardware-and-software system works by authenticating a user's fingerprint and then releasing the password to the site or application where it has been registered. Once the finger is placed on the fingerprint scanner, PersonVault will input the password into the registered field just as if the person typed the password on the keyboard
More specifically, the user:
- Selects the application to record or register the password.
- Starts PersonVault and registers this application
- Records the password
- Puts the cursor on the password field, puts his/her finger on the provided scanner and the password is inserted automatically
